These tips are designed for those class members used to regular exercise, so if you are new to exercise, please be aware not to attempt any if you have a medical condition or are not sure of the technique, and to consult me first. Not all exercise programmes are suitable for everyone – so the golden rule is if anything causes you pain or discomfot – don’t do it!!

Time yourself how many squats you can perform in 40 seconds - make these good quality, deep and powerful squats - feet hip width apart and facing forwards, sit back into your heels to an imaginary chair level
This one is really fun!!! see how many burpees/squat thrusts you can perform in 40 seconds.
As your fitness levels improve, repeat this test at weekly intervals and see if the numbers go up!!
